Pressure expands chewing gum!

06 Oct

Fear and strength exist in all of us. The funny thing is that we try our hardest to avoid things that cause us discomfort and anxiety, but in the end we realize that the fear may have been a great ingredient in making our lives exciting, adventurous, and meaningful. As the fear plays its part, it makes us uncertain, which leads to procrastination and a feeling of impending doom. The inner strength gives us the bravery and boldness to confront our shortcomings head-on, learn from them, and emerge from the experience as a more well-rounded individual. In the same way that a beautiful butterfly can eventually emerge from the trials and tribulations of a caterpillar. Just picture a caterpillar wishing it could fly one day but knowing that its fate is already written and waiting for it with both hands open. The only thing necessary to accomplish any goal is a strong effort combined with intense concentration on that goal. By announcing that you will not go into the darkness silently and without giving your best to whatever you do, you are taking the first step.

Even a piece of chewing gum expands under pressure, so imagine what a human being can do when faced with adversity.
